WARM UP
7 Min AMRAP
5 Pull Ups
10 Push Ups
15 Air Squats
Remaining Class Time- Elements/ Fitness/ Advanced
-Find Dead lift Max
-Find Shoulder Press max
Coach G- Big day for those coming to the class. It's time. First off go hard in the warm up, trust me you will hit a better max if you actually put in effort and get a glossy sweat going. Secondly lets talk about how to warm up for a max. You should have an idea of where your dead lift is and if you don't that is okay too. Start with the bar and practice form. Your form with the bar should look the same with your max. (Well not exactly) The point I'm trying to make is that your from shouldn't be compromised by weight. After that put some weigh on the bar. I like to do 5-5-3-3-2-1-1-1... each time going up in weight. Do not make too big of a jump but with dead lifts maybe go up 10 lbs when it gets really heavy. Don't stop pulling, you will be shooketh how long some dead lifts max take to get to hip extension. Same with Should press, keep those knees locked and butt tight and freekin press that bar and don't stop. Have fun today, the energy should be high, cheer each other on, and again listen to your coach. Get huge.
